What to Expect of Your Coach

  • To not voluntarily communicate Client's information to a third party
  • To act with integrity
  • To support you as you seek Clarity for your goal
  • To be support you via email between sessions
  • To have fun
  • To act in an ethical manners exceeding all standards set forth by the International Coaching Federation

 

 

 

What Your Coach Expects of You

  • To set the agenda for the relationship and each session
  • To define and take risks
  • To try new approaches
  • To evaluate your own progress
  • To prepare for and accept success
  • To seek Clarity for your coaching intention with support from your Coach
  • To pursue your intention with Courage with support from your Coach
  • To spend at least 3-4 hours a month totally focused on your goals, choices & growth
  • To have assignments between sessions
  • To be supported by Becky Brown via email between sessions
  • To have fun
  • To reach beyond what you thought was possible
  • To discuss with your coach if coaching is not working for you
  • To not voluntarily communicate Coach's practice, materials, or methods to a third party



 

A Typical Coaching Session

First thing, there is no typical coaching session!  However, if you have never been in a Coaching relationship, you might not know what to expect during the coaching sessions.

 

Complementary Consultation (phone call, WebEx/Skype, or face-to-face)

  • Free, no-obligation introductory Coaching session
    • For 1:1 Individual Coaching, you will be asked to complete a simple, online strengths assessment survey before our call
  • During the Initial Call, we will:
    • Discuss the top 2-3 areas you would like to change or enhance through a coaching relationship
    • Assess your individual strengths for life coaching (or you business/Organizational strengths)
    • Discuss the timeline for your goals
    • Engage in a mini coaching session
    • Discuss your investment in Coaching (Coaching Agreement, Fees, Expectations)
  • You decide if you wish to proceed
    • There will be no high pressure sales during this call and absolutely no commitment is required.
      

 

First Session (phone call, WebEx/Skype, or face-to-face)

  • Before the first session, you will complete and sign a Coaching Agreement, Inovice, Client Profile, and possibly 1-2 assessments based on the nature of the coaching outcomes
  • Discuss the Client's primary coaching goal(s) and timeline
  • Discuss barriers to achieving these goals
  • Discuss actionable steps that can be taken in next 7, 30, 60, 90 days
  • Schedule the next meeting

 

Subsequent Sessions (phone call, WebEx/Skype, or face-to-face)

  • Review the Client's goal(s) from the Coaching Agenda form or any others they wish to discuss in the session 
    • If different than previous primary goal, review commitment to goal and timeline
  • Review action items since previous meeting
  • Discuss barriers to achieving these goals
  • Discuss actionable steps that can be taken in next 7, 30, 60, 90 days
  • Schedule the next meeting



Between Sessions

  • Actively work on action items 
  • Complete any assessments and send results to Coach
  • Complete Coaching Agenda form at least 24 hours before session and send to Coach
